GEAR OILS

IKV-TRIBOGEAR SHC range
Mostly composed of PAO (polyaphaolefin) synthetic oils, this range of synthetic oils has the following properties:

• Excellent resistance to oxidation and ageing.
• Good lubricity.
• High viscosity index allowing a lower viscosity variation with temperature than mineral oils.
• Operating temperatures of -40 and 150°C.
• Good compatibility with mineral oils.
• Good compatibility with plastics and sealants.
• No effect on coatings such as paints.

IKV-TRIBOGEAR SHC products are particularly suitable for lubricating bearings and gearboxes with oil circulation. Its excellent performance helps to protect equipment, extend their service life and reduce maintenance costs. They can be used in a HACCP plan and do not contain MOAH and MOSH.

IKV-TRIBOGEAR PG range

Made from PAG (polyalkylene glycol) synthetic oils, this range of synthetic oils is distinguished by the following properties:

• Excellent resistance to oxidation and ageing.
• Excellent lubricity.
• Excellent anti-wear properties and resistance to high loads.
• Reduced friction, especially at low speeds.
• Protects surfaces from micro-pitting.
• Very high viscosity index allowing the lowest viscosity variation with temperature.
• Operating temperature range of -40 and 180°C.
• Maintains its performance up to a water content of 1%.
• Incompatibility with mineral oils.
• Good compatibility with sealing materials such as nitriles (NBR) up to 80°C, ethylene propylene (EPDM) and fluorinated (FKM).
• No action on epoxy coatings.

IKV-TRIBOGEAR PG products are particularly suitable for the lubrication of gears, wheels, screws and bearings with oil circulation and in all industries, especially in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and packaging industries. They can be used in a HACCP plan and do not contain MOAH and MOSH.
